Surprise Fiesta Grande

Join us for authentic Mexican food, classic cars, music and games as we celebrate our city’s cultural heritage at the 5th annual Surprise Fiesta Grande.

This fun-filled street festival recognizes the significance of the Original Town Site (OTS) and the importance of the Grand Avenue Corridor to the City of Surprise and the West Valley.

The event is 5 - 10 p.m. at the Original Town Site - Villanueva Recreation Complex, Hollyhock St. and Grand Ave.

Free shuttle service and parking can be found at the AZ TechCelerator - 12425 W. Bell Rd. Shuttle service will run from 4:30-10:30 p.m.

Free parking for the event is located off of Nash St. and Rimrock St.

The Surprise Fiesta Grande is taking place in Surprise Original Town Site at the Villanueva Recreation Complex - Hollyhock St. and Grand Ave.

Please note the following street closures and traffic restrictions due to the event:

Hollyhock Street between Rimrock Street and Santa Fe Drive will be closed to ALL vehicular traffic from 5 a.m. Saturday, October 13 through approx. 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
Santa Fe Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Verde Street and Nash Street on Saturday, October 13 from 3:00 p.m. through approx. 11:00 p.m.
Rimrock Street between Nash Street and Hollyhock Street will be open to local traffic only on Saturday, October 13 from 3:00 p.m. through approx. 11:00 p.m.
Street parking on Ironwood Street between Hollyhock Street and Verde Street will be reserved for residents affected by the above closures.
