    Surprise Youth Services will be hosting the inaugural College Readiness Summit on Saturday, November 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Ottawa University! It’s a fun and informative event designed to prepare high school seniors for college or trade school… and there’s even a chance to earn a scholarship! Students will hear from expert speakers and participate in workshops covering the following topics: - Financial literacy - Physical health issues impacting young adults - Time management and goal setting - Things “they” don’t tell you about your first year of college Attendance at the summit is a qualifying step to applying for the first-ever Surprise Youth Services scholarship. The total award amount will be announced soon. Registration for the summit is open and attendance is limited to the first 100 to register.
