Surprise Police hosting Shred-a-Thon and Drug Take Back
On Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 7-10 a.m., the Surprise Police Department will be hosting a Shred-a-Thon and Drug Take Back Event in partnership with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. This event will be held at the Surprise Public Safety Building located at 14250 West Statler Plaza.

Fallon Costello is a 27 year old white female and her daughter is 2 year old Paytan Costello. Costello and her daughter were last seen at their residence in the area of 16000 W. Banff Lane during an investigation by the Department of Child Safety (DCS).

Toni Brown is described as a 75 year-old White female, approximately 5’02” tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Toni Brown was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a red and white collar and black shorts. She may also be wearing a tennis style visor.

Mr. Paschal is described as a 79-year-old African American male, approximately 5’08” tall, 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Paschal was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans and a Vietnam Vet hat.

Accreditation Team Invites Public Comment
Between August 3-5, 2020, assessors from CALEA will be conducting a virtual assessment of the Surprise Police Department as part of the reaccreditation process prior to granting reaccreditation for another four years.

Amber alert issued for missing teen
An Amber Alert has been issued for a teen missing out of Surprise. 14 year old Aubrey Gardner was reported as missing from her home in Surprise on September 8, 2018. Aubrey is described as a white female, approximately 5’7” tall and 110 lbs in weight with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-Shirt with cartoon characters Lilo and Stitch, blue jeans, and skateboard shoes with roses imprinted on the toes.
