City of Surprise hosts 7th Annual Veterans Day Parade Nov.11

Surprise, AZ (October 25, 2021) Join us in honoring our service men and women at the 7th annual City of Surprise Veterans Day Parade on Thursday, November 11.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will be routed along Bullard Avenue between Paradise Lane and Tierra Buena Lane. It will feature community entries honoring the men and women in uniform who have selflessly served our country.

The morning kicks off with breakfast from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at Surprise Stadium in the centerfield plaza and will feature pancakes, choice of sausage or bacon and breakfast refreshments. Tickets for the breakfast will be sold the day of the parade for $6 per plate and $2 for refreshments. Cash only; ATM available onsite.

Parking will be available for parade attendees at the Surprise Community Park and Surprise Aquatic Center parking lots, located at 15953 N Bullard Avenue. 

In preparation for the parade, the following roads will be closed at 9:30 a.m. and will reopen shortly after the conclusion of the parade:

  • Paradise Lane between Bullard Avenue and Buck O’Neil Way
  • Bullard Avenue between Paradise Lane and Tierra Buena Lane

The City of Surprise Veterans Day Parade is presented by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored, in part, by Banner Health Del E. Webb Medical Center, Dental Depot, National Indoor RV Centers, Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln.
