Surprise is developing its first Arts & Culture Master Plan. The master plan will help us to better express the City’s uniqueness and artistic vitality by setting the standard and strategic direction for how we continue to implement and enjoy arts and culture in our community.
Below is a revised draft of the plan, which reflects ideas and opinions captured through public meetings, surveys and written comments. While the draft is plain text, the final copy will include graphics, samples, and visual aids.
Online comments for the revised draft have closed, and the final draft of the Arts & Culture Master Plan is now being produced.
The final draft is tentatively scheduled to go to the Arts & Cultural Advisory Commission monthly April – June; the Planning and Zoning Commission, Community & Recreation Services Commission and Tourism Advisory Commission in May; and then to the City Council for consideration and action in June.
Residents are encouraged to offer any additional input at the upcoming public meetings, where the final draft will be presented, or via email to Joshua Mike at email@example.com.
