Senior Services will be closed the following days:
- Thursday, December 24th and Friday, December 25th for the Christmas Holiday.
- Thursday, December 31st and Friday, January 1st for the New Year’s Holiday.

Free Virtual Programming

Valley Metro Public Transportation
Valley Metro provides two transportation service models in the Northwest Valley to better serve certified Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) riders, seniors and income-qualified individuals, and to provide a standardized regional system for riders valley-wide. Location, Fees and Hours of Operation
The Surprise Senior Center is located at 15832 N. Hollyhock St. in the heart of the Original Townsite and east of Gaines Park.
The Senior Center is the hub of activities for citizens age 50 or disabled adults. Membership in the Center for a resident of Surprise is $12.00 per year and for non-residents it’s $15.00. The Operating Hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A Hot Lunch Program
A hot lunch program offers seniors a balanced nutritious meal at 12 noon. The congregate meal program is designed for adults age 60 and better, and adults with disabilities. The suggested contribution rate is $2.50 per meal.
Patrons between the ages of 50-59 that do not qualify for the meal program can participate for a suggested contribution of $5.00 per meal. Reservations must be made by noon, two business days in advance by calling 623.222.1500.
A state of the art fitness center is open to seniors from 8:15-4:00 weekdays. Gym membership for residents is $30.00 and for non-residents it’s $35.00. Our fitness advisor can help you individualize your workout.
Are you a member of the SilverSneakers* program? Stay active, engaged and energized with free on-demand video workouts!
Our partner Tivity is now offering all SilverSneakers participants online exercise programs at no additional cost. You can workout at home on your own time with over 200 videos.
