Take a free tour of the home studio of local artist Joe Tyler. Tyler has worked on over one hundred projects, most of them large public art sculptures with strong botanical influences. At Northwest Regional Library in Surprise, you will find his “The Learning Tree” sculpture - a large welded tree shading a book and flower-adorned benches. The tour is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will meet at Tyler’s 40-acre property which serves as his studio. Pack a lunch to eat picnic-style, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the walking tour of the property. To reserve your space, call Susan deJong at 623.214.7537.
