    Eager hunters, from toddlers to 10-year-olds, are invited to join the search for more than 50,000 candy and toy-filled eggs as part of the Spring EGG-stravaganza! This free family event will feature face painters, balloon artists, inflatables and of course Mr. & Mrs. Bunny!! Gates will open at 7:30 a.m.

    April 17, 2020, 6:00 PM @ Shadow Ridge High School Auditorium

    Surprise has got talent and is looking to put it on display! Please come to the Shadow Ridge High School Auditorium at 6 p.m. and support your local youth, teen and adults as they perform a variety of acts throughout the night! Tickets may be purchased in advance for $3 at the City of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department Office (15960 N Bullard Ave Surprise, AZ 85374) or at the door the night of the event for $5. To audition is free, but you must submit your audition form by March 20th at 5 p.m.

  3. CANCELED - Teen Field Trip - NAU College Tour

    April 24, 2020, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Sierra Montana Recreation Center

    Join other teens from Surprise and tour the NAU campus to learn all about what the university has to offer. A medium drink from a local coffee shop is included with fee and please bring additional money for lunch. The trip will depart from and return to Sierra Montana Recreation Center. Spots are limited and registration ends on April 1. Permission slips must be filled out and returned to michelle.yingling@surpriseaz.gov. Ages 13-18.

  4. Surprise Online Talent Show - Submission Deadline

    The city of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce that the annual Surprise Talent Show will be held online! Residents of all ages interested in participating in the talent show can email video and photo submissions to frank.dandrea@surpriseaz.gov. The submission deadline is 5 p.m. Thursday, April 30; but send your entries early.
