Q:
What do I need to become an approved/permitted Backflow Tester within the city of Surprise?
A:
To be added to the approved vendor list, each vendor will need to send copies of the following to the City:
1. A valid city of Surprise business license;
2. A valid Arizona Backflow Tester certification;
3. Current test gauge calibration documentation;

Q:
Why do I need two test gauges?
A:

Q:
Will the Backflow Tester be able to tell the difference between the reclaimed water devices and the potable water devices?
A:
Yes, all reclaimed water devices will be colored or tagged with a Pantone 512C or 522C color for easy identification. The meter box and meter will also be Pantone 512C or 522C.
