City of Surprise offers in person and virtual visits with Santa!

santas workshop - santa and mrs claus

Have a long list for Santa this year? Don’t worry, there will be plenty of opportunity to visit Ol’ Saint Nick in his workshop or via Zoom! This year the City of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department invites you to visit Santa’s Workshop presented by Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry at the Surprise Recreation Campus. If you can’t make it in person, reserve a time to receive a Zoom call from Santa himself!

In Santa’s Workshop, youth of all ages will be able to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus while enjoying arts and crafts, treats and fun! The workshop officially opens Friday, December 3 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at our annual Surprise Party event featuring a traditional tree lighting ceremony, great food, live performances from “Music II Muzic” and fireworks! Santa’s Workshop will also be open on 12/7, 12/8 and 12/9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at the Parks and Recreation office on the Surprise Rec Campus. Be sure to bring your own camera to capture those special moments.
Back by popular demand, Zoom Calls with Santa! Pre-registration is required for the opportunity to receive a special video call all the way from the North Pole on Thursday, December 16. Go to under Surprise Party in the Special Events tab. Registration begins Monday, November 22 and closes Friday, December 10, or when all spaces are filled. Spots are limited and will fill very quickly, so register early to ensure a call!

For all event details and more information visit or contact the Parks & Recreation Special Events Division at 623.222.2000.
