Pickleball tournaments set to return to Surprise

Surprise will host a series of tournaments for the fast-growing sport of pickleball, welcoming over 1,900 participants to the city. 

 

The following tournaments will take place at the Surprise Pickleball Courts, located at 14534 W. Tierra Buena Ln. Admission is free, so come out and watch the action!

 

Surprise Pickleball Association Battle of the Paddles, September 25-26

SPA and USAPA sanctioned, double elimination pickleball tournament featuring over 100 players competing in women’s doubles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles and senior mixed doubles.

Surprise Pickleball Association Monster Smash, October 29 - November 1

SPA and USAPA sanctioned, double elimination pickleball tournament featuring over 600 players competing in women’s doubles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles and senior mixed doubles.

Super Senior World Pickleball Championships, December 2-5

USAPA sanctioned pickleball tournament featuring over 450 players competing in women’s doubles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles and senior mixed doubles. Skill groups 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0.

Tommy Wong Memorial Tournament, January 8-11

SPA and USAPA sanctioned, double elimination pickleball tournament featuring over 750 players competing in women’s doubles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles and senior mixed doubles.
