Registration open for Sept 25 Esports Open featuring Super Smash Bros

Surprise Parks & Recreation is excited to host their second Esports Open! Players ages 7-17 are invited to register for the Saturday, September 25 event for friendly video-game competition featuring Super Smash Bros.

The city’s Esports Open is a casual-competitive gaming event focused on engaging high volumes of players with exciting presentation. The city’s partner, Bravous Esports, provides all the gaming equipment and presentation for a seamless, flowing, competition. Professional commentators will be on-site to make gameplay exciting and accessible!

The tournament will be played at Countryside Recreation Center, 15038 N. Parkview Place, from 3-7 p.m.

Sign up for the Esports Open at https://bit.ly/3gClzDN. Parent information will be available through email in the days leading up to the tournament. Gamers are encouraged to bring their own gaming controllers, as well as light snacks and beverages!

Bravous Esports offers youth Esports Leagues, compelling STEM after-school programs, unique drop-in competitive events, and solutions for cities, schools, and non-profits to offer recreational esports to their communities.
