Surprise accepting Veterans Day Parade entries

Surprise Parks and Recreation is now accepting entries from clubs, organizations, groups and residents who want to participate in the city’s 5th Annual Veterans Day Parade and honor those who have bravely served our country. 

The parade will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 11, and will run along Bullard Avenue between Paradise and Tierra Buena lanes. 

Entry forms are available online at surpriseaz.gov/specialevents or at the Parks and Recreation Office, 15960 N Bullard Avenue. Entries are due by Friday, October 29. There is no fee to participate.

Prizes will be awarded to the following winning categories:

  • Best Veteran Service Organization
  • Best Military
  • Best Motorized
  • Best Musical/Performance
  • Best Youth
  • Best Classic Car
