Gear up for youth Fall Sports Leagues in Surprise; registration begins today

Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is now registering for youth soccer, tee-ball, baseball, softball and volleyball leagues as well as sports skill classes and camps. Youth pickleball and tennis programs are also available. Regular registration for 2021 Fall Sports leagues, camps and classes runs today through July 23. Late registration begins July 26.  

Youth Soccer, Tee-ball, Baseball, Softball & Volleyball League:  Leagues are for youth ages 4-17; programs begin in September and end in early November. Games are played on Saturdays and/or weeknights.  Practice times are up to the volunteer coach, and are typically one-hour, once a week (5:25p, 6:30p or 7:35p).  Age determined on or before November 30, 2021.  For league details visit surpriseaz.gov/youthsports.

Sports Skills Classes & Camps: Surprise offers a variety of six-week skills classes for youth ages 6-15.  Soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball skills classes will be held August-December. Sports camps are also available for youths ages 7-15. For a list of class and camp dates visit surpriseaz.gov/youthsports.

Pickleball and Tennis Programs: Pickleball and tennis programming starts in early August. Registration for both programs begin today through July 16. For a list of programs visit surpriseaz.gov/tennis.
