The City of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting applications for Summer Break Camp positions.

Applicants who enjoy working with children are invited to apply for Recreation I and Recreation III openings. 

Summer Break Camp is a fun-filled 10-week program for school age children between 1st and 8th grades. This exciting program features weekly field trips and on-site activities such as: arts & crafts, games, and sports. Camp is held at either the Countryside Recreation Center or at the Sierra Montana Recreation Center. Both camps will be open from 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Join our staff and learn teamwork, responsibility, and leadership skills that can be applied to any future job. A First Aid/CPR certification, tuberculosis skin test, as well as a Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety will be required. 

With daily reassessments in relation to the COVID-19 situation; rules, procedures and general guidance are subject to change. Participants are to adhere to guidelines set forth by the CDC.
