Surprise Stadium to host Sanderson Ford College Baseball Classic with COVID-19 mitigation procedures

2021 College Baseball

The City of Surprise will welcome fans to Surprise Stadium for the annual Sanderson Ford College Baseball Classic this month in a limited capacity and with additional COVID-19 mitigation protocols in place.

The tournament is set to take place February 19 - 22, featuring the Oregon State Beavers, New Mexico Lobos, Gonzaga Bulldogs and Kansas State Wildcats.

The health and safety of fans and the Surprise community are the city’s top priority. We have been working to develop health and safety measures specific to the College Baseball Classic experience after considering guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, local and international health authorities, PAC-12, Major League Baseball, and destination partners. You will notice that we have taken additional steps to protect your safety, including a limited seating capacity of only 2,200 fans per game; physically distanced seating pods; reduced touch points; contactless ticketing; cashless transactions; and new intensified cleaning protocols.

Additional fan safety information and policies can be found at SurpriseStadium.com.
