January 2021 Swearing in of Council

The first Regular City Council Meeting of the New Year included the swearing-in ceremonies for mayor and three councilmembers.

Skip Hall was sworn in as Mayor after winning the seat in the August Primary Election. He previously served as Mayor by appointment, following a mayoral resignation in November 2018.

Newly elected Councilmember Aly Cline was sworn in as District 2 Councilmember.

Re-elected Councilmember Patrick Duffy was sworn into office to serve District 3.

Re-elected Councilmember Ken Remley took the oath of office to serve District 4.

Each elected official was sworn in to a four-year term.

District 5 Councilmember Jack Hastings was sworn into office in November, per state law, after defeating an appointed councilmember for that district in the August Primary Election. He will serve a two-year term.
