Surprise partners with St Mary’s Food Bank Alliance to provide free meals for children

Human Services and Community Vitality

The Surprise Human Service and Community Vitality department has partnered with St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance Kids Cafe® to offer free breakfast and lunch to children up to 18 years old at the Surprise Resource Center.

Kids Cafe® is a USDA program that ensures that children in low-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals during long school vacations when they do not have access to school breakfast or lunch.

Kids Cafe® will operate Mondays – Fridays, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. beginning June 1 through July 31. Children must be present to receive a meal.
