Babe Ruth League registration now open; volunteer coaches needed

The city of Surprise is now offering registration for the West Valley Babe Ruth Baseball League! Both individual and team registration is available; league play begins in late April.

Resident and non-resident registration will be held February 10 - March 20 at the Parks & Recreation Office, located at 15960 N Bullard Ave. Registration is also available online at

Babe Ruth Baseball offers the following divisions for individual and team registrations:

  • 13-15 Division (Individual registration)
  • 13U Division (Team Registration)
  • 14U Division ( Team Registration)
  • 15U Division (Team Registration)

League age is determined on or before May 1, 2020.  All divisions will play at 60 ft. pitching distance and 90 ft. base paths. Games will be played at the Surprise Recreation Campus on the Kansas City Royals practice fields.  

Bat Rule: All non-wood bats must have the USA Baseball marking or marked BBCOR .50.  Barrel maximum is 2 5/8.
