Surprise hosts AIA Division III 1st Round Baseball State Championship Playoffs

The 2019 Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) Division III 1st Round High School Baseball State Championship Playoffs will be hosted on Friday, May 3, at the Surprise Recreation Complex.

Sixteen teams from across the Valley will travel to Surprise to compete for the Division III State Title. The games will take place at the Kansas City Royals practice facilities located at 15960 N. Bullard Ave. 

        

Friday, May 3 – High School State Baseball Playoffs Division III 1st Round 

#9 Northwest Christian vs. #8 Kingman, 4 p.m.

#12 Kingman Academy vs. #5 Yuma Catholic, 4 p.m.

#11 Gilbert Christian vs. #6 Sabino, 4 p.m.

#10 Paradise Honors vs. #7 Snowflake, 4 p.m.


#1 Valley Christian vs. #16 Catalina, 6:30 p.m.

#13 Odyssey Institute vs. #4 Sahuarita, 6:30 p.m.

#14 Fountain Hills vs. #3 Payson, 6:30 p.m.

#15 Safford vs. #2 ALA – QC, 6:30 p.m.


Saturday, May 4 – High School State Baseball Playoffs Division III Quarterfinals

Matchups to be determined. 


Saturday, May 11 – High School State Baseball Playoffs Division III Semifinals 

Matchups to be determined.

AIA State tournament gate admission prices are as follows: 

$10.00   Adult

$5.00  Student w/ID, Active Military and Senior Citizens (62 and over)
