Dysart Rd center median work scheduled to begin March 16

West-Mec Logo web

As a part of access control for West-MEC’s campus construction, the school will be constructing a center lane median on Dysart Road, from Market Street to US 60 (Grand Avenue), beginning March 16 through March 25.

The median will serve as a traffic safety measure, preventing dangerous vehicular turning movements in the area.

There will be 24-hour roadway restrictions; daytime work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists can expect lane restrictions and reduced speed limits while the work is in progress.

Once the median is constructed, motorists traveling northwest on Market Street will only be able to make right turn movements onto Dysart Road; left turns from Dysart Road to Market Street will be allowed.
