Surprise partners with AZ Ice to offer ice skating classes

 The City of Surprise and AZ Ice Peoria have partnered to offer fun, recreational ice skating classes for all ages!

AZ Ice follows the nationwide “Learn to Skate-USA” program to provide the entry level curriculum in a fun and positive atmosphere. Classes offered are Parent/Me, Tots, Basic 1, Hockey, Teen/Adults, and Adult Skate. 

Most of the classes begin this Saturday, January 5 and run for eight weeks on Saturdays from 9:45 – 10:15 a.m. The cost is $100 for residents and $120 for non-residents. 

Adult Skate classes run 16 weeks with a Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday option from 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. The cost is $125 for residents and $145 for non-residents. Sessions with a March start are also available for registration. 

All classes will be held at AZ Ice Peoria, located at 15829 N 83rd Ave, Peoria, AZ 85382. Register now at or contact City of Surprise Community & Recreation Services at 623.222.2000.
