Babe Ruth Baseball League Registration Now Open

The City of Surprise has opened registration for the West Valley Babe Ruth Baseball League, which begins in late April. Both individual and team registration is available for the 16-game season.

Resident and non-resident registration is open through March 23 at the Community and Recreation Services office, located at 15960 N Bullard Ave. Registration is also available online at www.surpriseaz.gov/recreation.
 
Babe Ruth Baseball offers the following divisions for individual and team registrations:

  • 13-15 year old (Individual Registration)
  • 13U (Team Registration)
  • 14U ( Team Registration)
  • 15U (Team Registration)


 League age is determined on or before May 1, 2018. All divisions will play at 60 ft. pitching distance and 90 ft. base paths. Games will be played at the Surprise Recreation Campus on the Kansas City Royals practice fields.
 
The City of Surprise is looking for volunteer coaches for the 13-15 Babe Ruth Division. If you are interested, please stop by the Community and Recreation Services Office to fill out a volunteer application.
