Police seek public assistance to identify graffiti suspect in Surprise

This morning, the Surprise Police responded to several reports of graffiti in a residential area located in the 15200 block of Ventura Street and Hearn Road in Surprise. 

The Surprise Police are currently investigating multiple incidents where an unidentified suspect or suspects used orange spray paint to damage several walls and vehicles in the area. The suspect wrote several expletives and also used the initials “KF” to cause damage to several items of property; including vehicles and walls throughout the neighborhood. The damage reportedly occurred between Midnight and 5:30 am on Sunday, February 5, 2017.

Anyone with any information leading to the location or identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact the Surprise Police Department at 623.222.4000 or 623.222.TIPS (4877). Tips can also be emailed to

  • Victims reportedly have successfully removed the paint from vehicles using “WD-40”.
