Surprise Fine Art & Wine Festival returns Jan. 11-13
Surprise, AZ (December 26, 2018) The 7th annual Surprise Fine Art & Wine Festival, presented by Thunderbird Artists and City of Surprise, returns January 11 – 13, 2019.
The event will take place 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day at Mark Coronado Park, located at 15960 N. Bullard Avenue. Admission is $3. Attendees can purchase an engraved souvenir wine glass with wine tasting tickets for $10, giving them an opportunity to sample an extensive collection of domestic and imported wines, as well as flavored rums.
The works of artist Ben Kinne will be featured, along with 80 other juried fine artists; bringing a world-class, fine art event to Surprise. The festival allows patrons to view the artwork up close and discuss the pieces firsthand with the creator. Subject matters range from southwest and traditional to contemporary and abstract, including figurative, floral, wildlife, European, African, Native American and more.
Live music and a variety of food trucks will add to the atmosphere of the art arena. In addition to tasty meals, there will be plenty of sweets available to satisfy your sweet tooth, including kettle corn, caramels, and ice cream. Fudge and chocolate covered strawberries will be made onsite by K & R Fudge; and stop by Mr. Nelson’s Cookies for a perfectly baked chocolate chip cookie!
