Police hold Citizen Safety Forum
Surprise, AZ (March 24, 2016) The Surprise Police Department, in partnership with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, will be hosting a Citizen Safety Forum from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016. This event will be held at the Sun City Grand Sonoran Plaza at 19753 N. Remington Drive, Surprise, Az. 85374 in the Sagebrush Ballroom.
The event will include free safety presentations on safely handling, storing and disposing of prescription medication as well as home security and fraudulent scams. The program will include presentations by and a chance to ask questions of leaders such as Surprise Police Chief Terry Young and Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery.
Attendees also can bring and safely dispose of prescription and over-the-counter medication at the event. Please note that police will be unable to accept thermometers, liquids, needles, ointments/lotions, inhalers, or aerosol cans.
