Surprise Police Invite Public to G.A.I.N. Night

SURPRISE, Ariz. (October 24, 2011)…The Surprise Police Department invites you to join them for their G.A.I.N. Night (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods). During the event, activities will include demonstrations from the Surprise Police Department Special Assignments Unit and K-9 units, safety information for all ages, children’s finger printing kits, inflatable children’s rides, free raffles & GREAT PRIZES, face painting and food vendors. Music will be provided by personnel from the Surprise Block Party Trailer Program, which will also be available for scheduling. Members of the Surprise Fire Department will also be in attendance with their fire prevention trailer.

In partnership with local businesses, the Surprise Police Department will be hosting the event where police and residents learn how they can work together to prevent crime and keep the community safe. Neighborhood Watch volunteers will be on hand to sign up participants. If you would also care to assist with the less fortunate during the upcoming holiday season, containers for the collection of non perishable food items and new unwrapped toys will be available to assist with the St. Mary’s Food Bank and the upcoming Surprise Police Toy Drive.
