City begins Fiscal Year 2023 budget discussions Mar. 1
Surprise, AZ (February 25, 2022) The City of Surprise FY2023 budget building process kicks off at the City Council Work Session on Tuesday, March 1 at 5 p.m.
This will be the first in a series of presentations to Council by the City’s Finance Department regarding the overall development of the budget and the upcoming annual process.
Future Council Work Sessions and Regular Meetings will include presentations related to operating revenues and expenses and department operating budget development.
The Recommended Budget is scheduled for release in April, followed by Council and public review that will result in the adoption of a balanced FY2023 budget in June. FY2023 begins July 1, 2022.
Council agendas are posted online at surpriseaz.gov/agendas at least two business days before the meeting. City Council meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Work Sessions typically begin at 4 p.m. and Regular Meetings at 6 p.m.
