Major League Baseball Jr. Home Run Derby is a fun and exciting youth competition for talented youngsters to showcase their hitting abilities, with the opportunity of competing at the Finals during MLB All-Star Week.

Boys and girls are divided into two age divisions: 12U and 14U, and will have the chance to advance through three levels of competition. The competition is open to all boys and girls ages 10-14. All participants compete together in one of two age groups (12U or 14U).

A participant's age is determined as of July 17, 2021. Therefore, if a participant's date of birth is on or after July 18, 2008, he/she will compete in the 12U age group. If a participant's date of birth is July 18, 2006-July 17, 2008, he/she will compete in the 14U age group. The Local Champions from both age divisions will advance to the Regional Level, and Regional Champions will advance to the Finals, which will take place during the 2021 World Series.

All participants should register using the above link and plan to bring age verification (copy/picture of birth certificate or similar) to the competition.
