Surprise Esports returns with “Winter Break” Fortnite Tournament
Surprise, AZ (December 11, 2020) Surprise Parks & Recreation and Bravous Esports are teaming up again to offer three online video game tournaments!
Esports is a sport event where multiplayer video games are played competitively in elimination-style tournaments. Gamers participating in the city’s winter tournaments will play from the comfort of their own homes. Participants must provide their own gaming system and game.
The first tournament to kick-off the winter tournament schedule will be Fortnite on Saturday, December 19 – just as kids head into winter break!
Winter tournament schedules are:
- Fortnite “Winter Break” Tournament
- (7-17yr) – December 19, 4-9 p.m.
- Rocket League “Back to School” Tournament
- (7-17yr) – January 9, 4-9 p.m.
- Among Us Unmasking
- (7-17yr) – February 20, 4-9 p.m.
The registration fee for each tournament is $10 for Surprise residents and $12 for non-residents.
