City webpage provides community support resources, volunteer opportunities amid COVID-19
Surprise, AZ (Month 30, 2020) The city of Surprise has created a webpage dedicated to connecting residents with resources and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an overwhelming time for communities around the world, and it is important that our residents know how to access the resources they need.
Here’s a look at what is available on the webpage:
• Community Resource Guide – provides contact information for assistance with food, shelter, homelessness and many other local resources
• Surprise Resource Center hours and services – our city’s one-stop-shop for social services
• Free meal services
• Stress and anxiety resources
• Community volunteer opportunities
See the COVID-19 Community Care Resources webpage now.
The city is consistently looking for ways to support our community and will update this page with additional resources as they become available.
