Surplus Donation Public Notice
The City of Surprise currently has an estimated 100,000 cubic yards of excess dirt associated with a wastewater campus expansion project. The dirt is currently stockpiled at the southeast corner of Litchfield Road and Cactus Road within the City’s water campus. The City is inviting qualified parties to take a minimum of 10 cubic yards at a time. The contractor will be required to provide the equipment to excavate the stockpiled material and haul the material away. The city will provide water for dust control. If an interested party would like to sample the dirt the city will accommodate. No sale of land is involved.
Pursuant to Surprise City Code §2-361 notice is hereby given that the City of Surprise intends to donate the following surplus item, 2008 Ford Expedition to Buckeye Valley Fire Department, after January 15, 2021. This donation has been found to be in the City’s best interest by the Procurement Manager.
