Residential Waste Cleanup Events

As a service to our residents, the city provides the opportunity to dispose of a single load of residential waste that weighs up to 2,000 lbs at no cost. One load per household. These events are open to Surprise residents only and proof of residency is required. Please bring a driver’s license and a utility bill to show proof of a Surprise home address.

This event is not for Household Hazardous Waste or appliances. Appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, water heaters, etc) are deemed as special waste, along with tires and batteries.

The Residential Waste Cleanup event is designed to help with removing larger items that aren’t easily disposed of in a regular trash can, including home improvement materials such as carpet, tile, drywall; other items like yard waste (tree limbs, leaves, etc.); and larger household items such as chairs, tables, etc.
