Fire User Fees

At the November 17th, 2015 Regular Council Meeting, Council approved Resolution 2015 – 108 which authorized an updated user fee schedule citywide to include the following updated fees for the Surprise Fire Medical Department to be effective immediately:
  • Adult Daycare (DHS) $100 initial/renewal license inspection
  • Childcare DES/CPS $100 initial/renewal license inspection
  • Fireworks Permit & Pyrotechnics Display (show) - $300 permit inspection
  • Sell fireworks (store inspection – 90 day) - $150 inspection/permit
  • TUP – tent inspection (sell fireworks - 90 day) - $350 inspection/permit
  • Records Requests
    • $5  less than 9 pages
    • $10 for 10 to 19 pages
    • $15 for 20-29 pages
    • $25 for 30-49 pages
    • $35 for 50-100 pages
    • CD’s are $20
  • Lockbox device and install - $65 each
  • Fire Suppression Responses (staffed) as identified below:
    • Engine Company - $427 per hour
    • Ladder Company - $514 per hour
    • Ladder Tender - $427 per hour
    • Command Vehicle - $244 per hour
    • Brush Truck - $228 per hour
    • Support Truck- $228 per hour
    • Water Tender - $184 per hour
    • Staff Vehicle - $148 per hour
