Decide Surprise
On November 7, 2017 registered voters in Surprise approved the three *General Obligation (GO) Bond questions in the areas of Public Safety, Traffic Congestion Mitigation and Pavement Preservation. The three questions represent 10 Capital Improvement Projects for a total bond amount of $59.5 Million.

There is a square mile in the Surprise, AZ downtown area that is prime for development, and Surprise Center Development Company (SCDC) is working on a master plan to ensure the area is developed to its full potential – with a focus on creating a collection of experiences and the feeling of community.
