Tee-ball, Baseball & Softball
The City of Surprise Spring Baseball, Tee Ball, and Softball leagues are a great place for new and experienced players. The City of Surprise and our volunteer coaches are committed to teaching the game in a fun and instructional atmosphere. The league’s focus is on maximizing playing time while highlighting the importance of sportsmanship at all times, all while making the safety of our players our top priority. We strive to create a passion for the game that will last a lifetime!
Teams will practice once per week and practice days and times will vary, coaches will schedule at their own discretion. The season will start in March and will run for 10 weeks, each team will play 8 games during the season. Please contact the Youth Sports Division with any questions. Volunteer Coaches Needed!
The road to the “Big Leagues” starts here! This program offers 4, 5 and 6 year old, boys and girls the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals and skills associated with the game of baseball in an atmosphere where participation and fun are top priority.

Baseball League
This program offers youth the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals and skills associated with the game of baseball in an atmosphere where participation and fun are top priority. Players registering for the majors 46/60 or 50/70 divisions will go through a skills evaluation.
Bat Rule: All non-wood bats must have the USA Bat marking. The barrel maximum is 2 5/8 inches in diameter. No BBCOR bats are permitted in the Cal Ripken Baseball Division. Special requests are not honored in both major divisions.

Spring Girls Softball League
The youth girls softball season will teach the game of softball in the spirit of sportsmanship, fun and wholesome competition. An emphasis is placed on the development of skills and the value of teamwork. Girls registering for the 12U and 14U divisions will go through a skills evaluation. Special requests are not honored in 12U & 14U.
