Building a Sustainable Surprise begins with good planning and that’s why the Parks and Recreation Master Plan was developed. This council-approved plan will help determine the size, facilities, and locations for new parks, trails and open space.
Additionally, this plan will help identify existing canals, dams, and rivers in the planning area as potential trail opportunities to link parks, open space, and schools.
The plan is a living document, and will be updated annually to reflect the latest developments regarding the city’s parks and trails system.
We invite you to read the Parks and Recreation Master Plan for yourself and send your comments to the email address listed below. Developers are also encouraged to utilize the document when designing and providing these recreational areas.
The purpose of the Library Feasibility Study is to guide future library operations, library renovation projects and consider potential new library/libraries in the future.
