"A Surprise Fire Crisis Response Volunteer looks like me"
Gabe HVAC Journeyman
"Unfortunately tragedies occur every day to people just like you and I. A Crisis Response volunteer helps others through life’s new beginnings. They are there because they want to be, not because they have to. It is their compassion for humanity that drives them."
Eugina Acute Dialysis RN
"Volunteering allows you to give a little of yourself back to the community, back to someone who needs it. Being a volunteer now paves the way for someone else to volunteer that they may help me or perhaps a loved one someday. This is why I volunteer!"
Paul Retired-Mechanical Engineer
"I enjoy the Crisis Response Volunteer role. I believe that the CR team helps people to be in a better position to handle the immediate crisis they are experiencing. This is very rewarding to me!" David Lowes & GCC Student
"I volunteer for the Crisis Response Program to give back to the community and make a difference in someone's life. If for a moment I can help someone through their crisis, it makes me feel good to know I made their day better!"
