Programs and Services
To combat the spread of COVID-19, the Police Department is suspending the following programs until further notice:
Prescription Drug Take Back Kiosk. For alternative RX disposal locations:
Civilian Ride Along program & tours of police department
Fingerprinting services limited to court mandated printing only
Police Explorer program
Fingerprints are done only on Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
You must bring your own print cards. The city of Surprise will not furnish print cards.
You may obtain fingerprint cards from the Department of Public Safety by calling (602) 223-2279.
Only Surprise residents or individuals employed within the city will be fingerprinted. Proof of residency and employment must be shown.
A valid government issued ID is required to be fingerprinted
Fingerprinting will not be done for Immigration purposes
A $15.00 fee for two fingerprint cards. Additional cards will be $5.00 (five) dollars per card
Fingerprinting services are not available on City observed Holidays.
