The Intergovernmental Relations Department serves as a liaison for the City of Surprise on legislative issues at the local, state, and federal levels. Our primary goal is to promote the City’s legislative agenda, strengthen relations with elected officials and ensure the Mayor and City Council are informed of the new legislation impacting Surprise.
