The Surprise Progress magazine is direct-mailed to about 50,000 Surprise households four times per year. It includes in-depth articles on events, people and issues involving the City. Additional copies are available at the City offices or by calling 623.222.1400.

The magazine may also be viewed on the City’s web site. Launched in the Spring of 2001, Surprise Progress has received the second place Silver Circle Award from City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) from 2003-2005, and again in 2007. In 2002, its first year of competition, Surprise Progress earned the third place Award of Excellence in the national competition.
