PRIVATE POOL RENTAL & BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION

The City of Surprise pool is available, on a limited basis, for rental by SURPRISE Residents affiliated with accredited educational institutions, private groups or non-profit agencies. The following provisions and fee structure apply to these rentals:
A pool rental may be requested and will be scheduled so as not to interfere with instructional and general recreational programs sponsored by the City of Surprise Community Services and Recreation Department. Requests for pool reservation will be considered for any day of the week.
A reservation form must be filled out completely listing name and address of contact, date and time of request and what the rental will be for. Please read the pool rules carefully prior to requesting a reservation.
Aramark has first right of refusal for food and beverage at the Surprise Aquatic Center
Food and beverage items may be consumed in the concession area only. Clean up is the rental parties’ responsibility. Alcohol or anyone under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed on the premises at any time. No person shall have a glass container in his or her possession.
The pool may be reserved for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours.
No pool rental will extend past 10 pm per City Curfew and Park Ordinance.
A $100.00 refundable cleaning deposit will be required at the time a pool reservation is requested. The cleaning deposit will be forfeited if deemed appropriate by the pool manager for lack of acceptable clean up. Deposits will be returned within 24 hours of the reservation.
Current certificate of insurance will be requested from all educational institutions and non-profit organizations requesting to rent the facility.

Birthday Party Packages
Hollyhock Community Pool Party Rental
Are you looking for a great inexpensive way to celebrate a summer birthday? Birthday Party Packages are available at Hollyhock Community Pool starting Memorial Day weekend through August 29 during open swim hours. Fee includes entrance to the facility, sectioned portion of the grass area, tables, chairs and canopies. You are welcome to bring in a birthday cake and of course presents. Only one party is allowed per day in two hour blocks. Additional hours can be purchased. Please call about food restrictions.

Surprise Aquatic Center Party $150
Celebrate your child’s birthday at the Surprise Aquatic Center during open swim.
- Air Conditioned party room for 3 hours.
- All day pool admission for 15 people. ($5.00 each additional person).
- Name announced on the intercom.
- Tables and chairs.
- Food includes hot dog, chips and a small drink for each child.
- Cake can be brought into the facility.
