Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of Surprise City Hall unless otherwise posted.

Agendas are posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting date. Agendas and related materials are available for viewing at the Community Development Department during regular business hours
(8 am - 5 pm).

General Plan Meetings

The General Plan is the City's long-term policy guide for growth and revitalization of the city. Public meetings, workshops and hearings are held to discuss the General Plan and residents are encouraged to attend to offer their opinions. Meetings are announced as they are scheduled and are listed on this page as well as the Community Development calendar.

Neighborhood Outreach Meetings

Neighborhood outreach meetings allow the public an opportunity to appear and be heard relative to the project. Meetings are announced as they are scheduled and are listed on this page as well as the Community Development calendar.

Northwest Citizens Group

The Northwest Citizens Group is comprised of 13 members that live north of Surprise, in the Wittmann, Morristown and Circle City areas. The group meets monthly with city staff to discuss a variety of issues and topics. Meetings are open to the public and are held at the Saguaro Jane’s Community Center located at 21802 W. Wilson Avenue, Wittmann AZ.
