Surprise Neighborhood Award Program (SNAP)
Are you an outstanding neighborhood leader, or know someone that is? Know a young person that is doing his/her part to better the community? Would you like to spotlight the good works of your neighborhood? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you’ll want to take part in the city’s Surprise Neighborhood Award Program (SNAP).
Created by the Surprise Quality of Life Commission, the program recognizes neighborhoods, community leaders/ partners and young community activists who “SNAP” into action and make significant contributions to improve the city’s neighborhoods.
SNAP Awards will be presented annually to winners in five categories:
- Outstanding Neighborhood Leader
- Outstanding Neighborhood Partner
- Outstanding Neighborhood
- Outstanding Young Leader
- Outstanding Faith-based Partner
