Pool Rules
- Have a good time.
- NO RUNNING - Please walk on pool deck.
- NO cut-offs, t-shirts, leotards, sandals or shoes will be allowed in the water at any time. Appropriate swimming attire is required at all times.
- NO water wings or flotation devices unless approved by the Pool Manager and certified by United States Coast Guard.
- NO diving off pool deck at all times. Diving allowed in designated areas.
- Obey Lifeguards at all times.
- NO flips, jackknifes or cannonballs off edge of pool
- NO Glass containers permitted.
- NO alcohol, tobacco or smoking permitted in pool area at any time.
- NO horseplay, shoulder rides or dunking.
- NO hanging on ladders or railings. .
- NO sun tan oils allowed in pool area at any time.
- NO open cuts, abrasions, sores or bandages in the pool.
- NO private swim lessons allowed.
- Children (10) years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years and older at all times.
- Food, candy and beverage must be purchased and eaten in designated areas only.
- Abusive and or foul language will not be tolerated.
- Responsible guardian, 16 years and older, must accompany young children in the pool area at all times.
- Gang paraphernalia will not be permitted in the facility.
Pool Slide Rules
- Have a good time.
- Riders must be 42” tall (3.5 feet tall)
- Single riders ONLY.
- NO parent/child rides permitted.
- NO stopping, kneeling or standing in the slides.
- NO twisting or turning inside the slides
- NO jewelry, watches, or eyeglasses (except with head strap).
- Feet first descents only.
- Keep hands and feet inside of flume.
- Swimsuits only. Zippers and or buttons on back pockets not allowed.
- Keep hands across chest and feet together at all times.
- Please do no ride if pregnant or have physical restrictions.
- All slide users ride at their own risk!
Zero Depth Rules
- Have a good time.
- No one allowed in zero depth area without a Lifeguard on duty.
- Responsible guardian, 16 years and older, must accompany young children and stay within arms reach in the zero depth area.
The City of Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department reserves the right to enforce, modify and or designate new rules and standards as deemed just, which are in the best interest our patron’s safety, health and that of the City of Surprise.
