Water Conservation

Water ConservationThe City of Surprise Water Conservation Program is an important part of the management and planning of the city’s limited water resources for today and into the future.

Surprise is involved at the local, regional, and national levels of water conservation education. By developing a few easy, common-sense water use habits, our water customers can continue their current lifestyle, help the city reach its water conservation goals, and save money on their water bill.

Do you use a broom, instead of a hose, to clean sidewalks and driveways? Do you water your landscape early in the morning or evening to avoid evaporation? Do you check to see that your sprinklers are not running into the roadways? Do you have a shut-off nozzle on your garden hose? Use low flow showerheads? If the answer is yes , give yourself a pat on the back, and keep up the good work of conserving water!
