General Plan survey nears 1,300: A community responds
Surprise, AZ (July 24, 2012) Nearly 1,300 residents have taken the General Plan survey. Have you? A few minutes of your time can help shape the future of the City for generations to come.
The General Plan Survey, www.surpriseaz.gov/gpsurvey, invites you to share your thoughts on several topics including what kind of growth you’d like to see in the future, what city characteristics are important to you and what should the city’s focus be over the next 20 years.
You can also write in your comments along the way.
All information will be shared with the General Plan Advisory Committee as they study the General Plan 2030 before making any recommendations to the City Council. A public vote would then follow at a later date.
The General Plan Advisory Committee’s next meeting is Thursday, July 26, at 6 p.m. The group meets at the Northwest Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Avenue. For agenda and future meeting dates please visit the calendar section of www.surpriseaz.gov.
