City General Election results to be shared online; TV

Surprise AZ (November 2, 2009) The City of Surprise will post the unofficial results of the November 3^rd General Election on the city's Web site (www.surpriseaz.com) and TV channel (Surprise11) on election night.

Registered voters in the Surprise were asked to decide two issues; a $184.9 million General Obligation Bond proposal, and an update to the city's General Plan, called "General Plan 2030."

Surprise 11 programming is also streamed via the Web at www.surpriseaz.com/surprise11.

The unofficial results are expected to be released by the Maricopa County Elections Office at approximately 8 p.m., Nov. 3.  Final results are typically released later in the week.
