Hurry- Surprise filling up Surprise Party vendors and Classic Car Show lists
SURPRISE, AZ (September 15, 2009) The 8th Annual Surprise Party is the city's premiere winter celebration event, the evening of December 4 and during the day on December 5! And there is still time to register as a vendor or to participate in the Classic Car Show!
Arts and craft vendors may apply for booth space to show off their wares on December 5, from 11 a.m. ? 5 p.m., at the Surprise Recreation Campus, 15850 N. Bullard Avenue.
The vendor fee is $80 for a 10' x 10' space. Tents and electricity are available for an extra fee. Vendors will be chosen on a first come first served basis. Applications are due by November 13.

If you have a classic car that you'd love to show off at Surprise Party, now's the time to sign up! The Classic Car Show will include a variety of cars and trucks from the following categories: All Original (Pre-1950), All Original (1950-1979), Modified Custom (Pre-1950), Modified Custom (1950-1979) and Fan Favorite.
The Car Show component of Surprise Party will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 5. Registration is $40 per vehicle and includes a T-Shirt and Dash Plaque. First Place trophies will be awarded to each of the categories. Register online at www.surpriseaz.com/specialevents or go to the Community & Recreation Services Office, 15960 N. Bullard Avenue. Surprise Party is a free family event that kicks off the evening of Friday, December 4, with a balloon glow, tree lighting ceremony, Arizona Skyhawks skydivers and fireworks.
December 5th fun includes live entertainment, live animal shows, elephant rides, petting zoo, pony rides, clowns, an interactive kid zone, car show, arts and crafts and much more on December 5. This annual event is expected to draw 12,000 - 15,000 participants.
