Fall Water Wise Landscape classes offered in Surprise- new venue
Surprise, AZ (September 18, 2009) The Surprise Water Conservation Division of Public Works is bringing back the popular free Water Wise Landscape classes starting in October.
- October 3: "Landscape Watering by the Numbers," 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- October 28: "Water Wise Landscaping," 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (free CD Rom included)
- November 19: "Landscape Watering by the Numbers," 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
You will learn how to properly set your irrigation timer and proper watering techniques at the Landscape Watering by the Numbers workshops. The Water Wise Landscaping course will feature new software offering hundreds of low-water landscaping design ideas and is presented by Surprise Water Conservation Analyst London Lacy, a certified landscape irrigation auditor and master gardener.
All classes will be held at the Public Safety Auditorium, 14250 W. Statler Plaza, not at the Senior Center.
